Long-flame

Quality characteristics for long-flame coal, grade D

For coals grade D characteristic is volatile content of more than 30% (30% -40% and above) with powder or weakly-caking non-volatile residue. D grade coals are very widespread. Moisture in presented coals is equal to average 15%. This is due to the parent moisture presence in the piece of coal. That said, gained moisture is equal to average 8%. Long-flame coals in some cases are good raw material for semi coking. Coals of this grade are used primarily as an power and domestic fuel, so their most important characteristic is the heat of combustion. When used in a boiler room, it is necessary to consider the technical requirements for the raw materials of the boiler for volatile content (average 41%) because some boilers cannot use raw material with volatile more than 30%.

We recommend that you use long-flame coal in iron and cast iron boilers or in stone bread oven by natural and poor draught.

We offer to supply the following sorted coals grade D:
DPK - long-flame, large plate;
DKO- long-flame, large nut;
DOM- long-flame, little nut;
